About Brownie Harris

Brownie Harris has spent 50 years documenting the worlds of public television, Fortune 100 companies, and Hollywood. After earning a BFA in Communication Arts & Design from Virginia Commonwealth University, he founded the photography department at WNET/Thirteen at just 23, pioneering visual storytelling in public media.

As a freelance photographer, he worked with GE, IBM, Raytheon, NASA, and the U.S. Marine Corps, before transitioning into film and television as a Unit Still Photographer. His work has appeared in productions by Paramount, BBC Studios, Lionsgate, Disney, Amazon Studios, and Warner Bros.

Now based in Wilmington, North Carolina, Harris continues to inspire with his timeless imagery and artistic vision.
