Vesna Mišanović, a chess grandmaster and Olympic medalist, has won several awards, including the "Freedom" award from the International Peace Center and the "Woman of the Year" award in her home country of Bosnia. She is a mother of three and currently works as Chief Strategy Officer at Autonomous Mobility.

Sarajevo artist and illustrator Nina Mašina (Aleksandra Nina Kneževic) creates fresh, contemporary work with playful typography and graphics. Her internationally recognized projects include illustrating Harry Potter covers and earning a spot among the world's top 200 illustrators in 2010. She also won a prestigious Bologna Children's Book Fair award for her book "Wunderbare Welt."
